Street Light Monitoring System
Internet of Things (IoT)
based Street light monitoring mechanically switches ON lights once the daylight
goes below the visible region of our eyes. (e.g. in the evening after Sunset).
It automatically switches OFF lights when daylight falls on that ( i.e. on LDR
) e.g. in the morning, by using a detector known as LDR (Light Dependent
Resistor) that senses the sunshine a bit like our eyes.
According
to a study, street mild consumes 19% of global-wide energy. Most of the street
light remains On even though there can be no man or woman around. IoT task
thoughts like street light monitoring structures bringing a solution here. This
challenge consists of smart street lights that have sensors to monitor humans
or motors around.
Upon
sensing the motion, the sensor sends information to the microcontroller; then
it turns the street light on. If there may be no motion microcontroller make
the switch off. That‘s how this IoT task saves energy. Checking defective
street lights is any other benefit of this internet of things example.
Key Feature:
- Save Electricity.
- Reduce the
maintenance cost.
- Can be turned on and off quickly.
